Job Brief:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled .NET Developer with 7–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, backend development, API integrations, database management, and modern web application development. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Project Managers, and Clients to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions while following best development practices and Agile methodologies.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web and enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET/.NET Core.
- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and UI technologies.
- Work with SQL Server/IBM Db2 databases for writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
- Collaborate with QA teams to resolve defects and improve application quality.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and application issues efficiently.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and architecture diagrams.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and development tools.
- Other work as needed and assigned.
Technical Skills required:
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core / .NET 6/7/8
- Web API / REST API development
- Entity Framework / EF Core, LINQ
- SQL Server and/or IBM Db2
- Experience with front-end technologies such as:
- React.js / Angular / Blazor, JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
- Experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, MSAL, or Azure Entra ID.
- Understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
